Hehe, I once came with a 777 to Paris and changed into an ERJ-190 there. Now, that the 777 was flying stable was kind of no surprise, but that the ERJ-190 could match, that was awesome.

The Bombardier looks great. Almost like a mini-B787. It definitely represents a ground up design of this class. I await the day when the airlines purchase them to replace what the B737-200s did back then. They used to ply the shorter routes (-1000 km or so), but nowadays the B737-800s don't make sense on such short routes, and they went with ATRs instead.

I'm somewhat disappointed they (the C-series) only have 2+2 or 2+3 seating though. But that's an improvement from an ATR.

D-ECHO: I believe he is a product of the balmy shores of California, extracted from the tropical Colombia :)

Ah, by the way, I don't mean any offence; don't think I mean that you are an orange (ie. a fruit)

The Bombardier has won the beauty contest. But if it functions like a bus, i think that influences training badly. But if it functions like a Boeing, the passengers have a better chance of survival.

Kind regards, Vincent

Heh. I hope the airlines don't go with the Comac 919 instead, although I would like to add that it is a remarkable achievement for China.

The Comac somehow reminds me of the DC-10 / MD-11, in terms of windshield and nosegear arrangements
