Re: Free Speech

@IAHM-COL and @Vincent, comments understood and thank you for the explanations. Moderation is always a difficult job (the only exception being when you let genuine and unrestricted free-for-alls happen with nothing ever done at all, which is not moderation.)

Re: Free Speech

When I read the sig, I thought: 1) Wow, that's an over the top insult against jwocky. 2) Everything lydiot says from now on is suspect in my mind. A comment like that, without any context, is revealing of someone with diminished capacity. 3) It's a 'free speech' forum, therefore it's allowable even ...

Re: The "Lester does very little to Herby's Ilyushin76 for the USA tour,' Thread

That one is indeed nice. Have you range/refuel tested it? Neither the FG model nor the published flight characteristics seem adeqaute without refuels. It's a "long range" transport but even the IL-76T will need at least one complete refuel to make the trip.

Re: Your other Left! (It doesn't happen only to me!)

I can agree with the idea that it seems like the controller missed something in the proper departure patterns. (eta: I disagree with the news report that said the controller steered them into the mountains. The controller tried to get them to AVOID the mountains.) I wonder if EVA 015 on hearing the ...

Keep grinding on it! I may change my opinion about whether I like to pilot Airbus or not! :) :) :) (Which is weird considering I love using a stick to fly. ;) )

Re: USA TOUR Event | SAT FEB 11TH 16:15 UTC - SUN FEB 12TH 19:25 UTC

Sorry I got so delayed... I was doing some flight testing for Jwocky but got delayed by other things in life. I intend to be a tanker pilot for this flight if needed. However, real life may interfere with me being able to do the flight - it may not either. I hope to know soon. What I had found (all ...

Re: FlightGear Special Multiplayer Event, KSFO-KDEN, Dec. 23

I think you guys are onto something there! I'm not sure about the status of future events... Intl gave hints that future ones won't be closed off. (Yet y'all are right - you can't control the actions of others in regular MP... and I wouldn't want to in regular MP!) I also wonder, for private group f...
