Re: Mumble in trouble? [SOLVED]

Well since the instructions two posts above mine talk about using zenserv.fr, and nothing else in this thread lists another server, that's the one I was referring to. (As with Jwocky, I found myself trying to get on the old one to find it was no longer available, so I came straight here.) But I'll t...

Re: World's Challenging Approaches -8 |PAJN|26-05-2018|16:00Z |

I can't make any promises for being there quite yet, but my semester is over so I'd like to if I can make it. I'd be doing a 757 if that will do the trick (IIRC I've tried this flight before and came up short on fuel, not to mention wondering if I can cruise with it...), and I also wonder if any imp...

Re: Availability compromised for awhile

A lot happens in three months. First, I haven't had one-hour breathers at all. If I do I fill it with study. And when I'm not studying I'm trying to pull down clinical hours in the Emergency Room or on an Ambulance - I've logged over 100 hours since April 1. The class still runs until final exams on...

Re: Availability compromised for awhile

Updating.... Chess season is still going through next weekend, and the EMT class is WAY much more work than I figured. Tonight was my first hop since the above, took the L-159 from Homey to KLAS and then just a little assist in controlling at OAK, and this is all the time I'll have for another block...

Re: leaving permanently

Turbo... I hope you're still checking this thread. More than understandable that you're branching out into other areas of virtual flying/controlling.... But I will certainly miss you. You've been such a great role model for me as a controller and I'll always remember that you introduced me to the DH...

Re: USA TOUR Event | SAT FEB 11TH 16:15 UTC - SUN FEB 12TH 19:25 UTC

I'm sorry that I missed it after being so psyched to do it! I had two rather sudden events crop up, one of which took away that Saturday from me, and the other was that my class is WAY more involved than I planned on. I'm afraid that I'm so jammed now that I won't be able to commit to much of anythi...

Re: Free Speech

Maybe I have to accept the fact, that a decent human community is a thing of impossibility.... Sorry for using a quote slightly out of context. But it's Sunday and I'm a Lutheran and still full of good breakfast... so I'll put in a plug for the notion that people are, "simultaneous saint and s...

Availability compromised for awhile

I've got two different things rolling in my life at the moment... First, I'm finally feeling healthy enough to re-engage in another love of mine, chess and chess tournament directing. It's the scholastic tournament season, so I'll be away some weekends because of that. (Though I think I can and will...

Re: Free Speech

I respect your opinion, and I don't disagree with it. Let me just point out however that there are different ways of making a point, different ways of expressing a point. When I wrote that sig I expressed myself in a way I've expressed myself before. The point of phrasing it the way I did is that i...
