I performed few flights in P3Dv4.5 with FSL A319, I observed strange FBW behaviour - when I commanded 5 degs pitch and 10 degs roll, FBW did not stabilized plane and pitch and roll changed. I needed to adjust the steering like on a machine with a hydraulic powersteer. FBW works well in case of flight envelope and stall protection, and pretty nice. I was not able stall this aircraft without A/T disengage.

I have not experience in professional A3xx simulator (full motion or fixbase), only with 737-800 NGX fixbase EASA training device.

That doesn't sound normal. I just tested it now and as you can see in the video below with the same parameters it maintains the pitch and roll with no stick inputs.

Config :
P3Dv5 + ASP3D Beta 7 + Terra Emergence global texture pack, freeware LIMW and LOWI airports. I was bit disappointed, storm clouds are very similar, no towering CBs, or cumuluses mediocris and congestus

Yeah, that's not good. Have you tried switching back to the normal mode instead of Enhanced Atmosphere, because I have seen plenty of TCUs during my flights in P3d v4.5 with Active Sky for P3d v4 + Rex skyforce. I will send a screenshot when I come across one again, or it maybe there in one of the screenshots that I'd posted before (not sure though).

I did a flight from Innsbruck - Paris. Well the plane gets you from A to B, but does have a lot of bugs and missing features. Also, the FDM ain't good.

Ad FBW FSL A3xx :
Probably, I tested very old version, because that Bus had not 2 message windows on lowest portion of the front panel.

EDIT :
I had got chance to test FSL A320X with P3Dv5, this thing flies fantastic ! FBW steering aircraft without sidestick intervention, keep roll and pitch very realistic, in opposite FG A320family, where the steering is too sterile and can cope even with strong turbulences.
But I too often asked the Bus - What the hell are You doing ?

The DCDUs have been there since last December IIRC

Haha. Glad you got it sorted out.

What exactly are you saying here? Sounds like you say that the FSL does one thing, and then the other one does it as well? :?:

Steering of the FG A320family is absolutly accurate, FSL is accurate too, but exists small fluctuations and You need make small corrections from time to time.

I made some flights with P3D v5 and FSL A320 on customer's machine and still do not full understand all Bus features. Boeing's avionics is easier than Airbus.

I had preordered 1 hour lesson in full motion A320 sim, but COVID destroyed my plans :(

Newton's first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force.

SO what's this force that's acting on it ?

High fidelity airliners are now out for MSFS2020.
