path for view

Hi all.

I've been using Comete for FlightGear for a long time. Now I've thought of changing the pref/path/surfaces/aileron/... path to control the horizontal view axis. And the same for changing the elevator path to control the vertical view axis.

The only problem is I can't figure out the paths for these view axes. The portable device would do what the mouse does in the view mode.

I've looked through the property browser but can't find this information or more likely I am unable to interpret it properly.

Has anyone tried this?

Hi,

If I understand right, you use a game controller or what is that "Comete" thing? The axis definition and what an input device does are defined in inputs/Joysticks. So there is where you can define what a button on a joystick or a knob or an axis does. Is that, what you're looking for?

J.

Dankeschön, Herr Lego!

So he tries to use a cell phone as game controller?

Yes. I was thinking of using the phone to control the view instead of the ailerons and elevator. Maybe "duct taping" it to my head to use it as a head tracker if you will.
