Why do my plane windows look grey?
*In 3.5, Thorsten added a new effect to FlightGear which renders aircraft windows much more realistically, allowing frost, rain, or fog to be shown. Things in the cockpit such as instruments can be reflected on the glass. Unfortunately, these planes found in FGMEMBERS with the effect show grey windows in versions prior to 3.5, such as 3.4, 3.2, or 3.0. Shortly 3.6 will be released which will fix the grey windows once and for all. In the meantime, just ask for help to get the very latest version, 3.7 on your computer!
3.7? I thought we were at 3.4?!
*FlightGear version numbers are very simple. Even numbers are stable releases, while odd numbers are development releases. For example, before 3.6 is released, we use 3.5. Before 3.8 is released we use 3.7. A release happens every 6 months or so, in February and September, so stay tuned! If you would like help to get 3.7, the very latest development version, just ask for help in another topic.
Why does the bl***y plane turn left?
