If you regret installing something, then use deinstall scripts

In your case, you can deinstall South and Central america, that leaves you with only North America (USA + Canada)



This in fact releases a big portion of HD back to you; as expected.

It didn't finish. I'm installing NorthAmerica now, and it's been stuck on Objects/w080n50 for an hour.

stuck as in no objects are downloading and you don't see a download speed? then your internet dropped out.

If its just downloading and keeps doing it, then you need to hold tight. Its just lots of material.

But whenever I try to start at a parking position, it says something like:
and starts me on a runway.

(and yes, the lack of space after the ICAO code is intentional. that's what the message looks like)

Thanks for this report. I'll check (tomorrow) if this is a bug that can be addressed, or not.

If you are using FGRUN to start the sim there is a bug in FG where the program uses the parking request BEFORE reading the file. What I do is to spawn and then use the insim position aircraft tab to go to the parking.
