Thank you for the insults, Bomber. Yet you did not convince me of the need for a secret police on this forum. We all know the countries that made extensive use of secret police. But i do not think anyone here has the ambition to live in such country.

Kind regards, Vincent

What an arrogant and self centered sentence. Vincent stated clearly, that he only becomes a "moderator" when required to be one. It's not a hard thing to understands! ;) :D  :x :!: :?: :!: :!: :?: :?: :?: :!: :!: :!: :?: :!:

What type of signature is this: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The previous signature was aimed at specific people. That others saw it was mainly the result of this thread. Now I put a bunch of "x" in the sig to show people I took the old one out, since some people were bothered by it.

Does that explain it?

Not in the slightest.

That sentence makes no sense.

@Swamp: My post was referring to a general problem with people as some kind of explanation of why and how things went down as they did.

Perhaps some of you could take your issues to private messages.

- I made a sig directed at certain people
- Some other people saw the sig after this thread was created
- Some of those other people were bothered by the sig
- So I changed the sig

In order for it to be visually clear that my sig had changed I put several "x" in it. That way, if someone sees my posts, they can clearly and quickly see that my sig is no longer what it was earlier.

Now do you get it?

Now that you explained it using proper English and logic, I do.

Well I'm thrilled that I could clear up my poor use of the English language for you.

@Swamp--

To answer your question, this forum is not shutting down. We've gone through a significant internal reorganization, which is putting it lightly, but we are open for business. Post to your heart's content (This is February, after all).

It is okay to have fun, write things that make you happy, and talk about the things you enjoy about FlightGear. The crisis is over. Let's go FLY!
