We (
the admin and
moderators of FFFS) don't delete, nor edit members posts/statements. And we only lock or split topics if all parties involved on it request it and agree.
It's not about respecting your wish. It's about respecting yours but also everyone else to have an opportunity to have a say and have an opinion, that can differ from yours, or concur.
You can edit your own posts, and delete things you wrote.
Admins also can, but we will not. No-one else can.
But that is not as effective as recognizing a mistake and apologizing if becoming necessary . Therefore, in spite of your wish, we will not delete, nor lock this thread. If you wish to move it, tell me to what subforum here you want it to be relocated, and I can consider that.
It's like RL. If you say something you come to regret having said; you cannot unsay it. You can recognize a chance or a softening of a position if such place is where you are at. You can offer a sentiment of conciliation or an apology, if that is where you are at. Or you can stand on your view and words. Here, it just as well that, just like in RL.
