I found this thread to be pretty interesting about the raid:
http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/showt ... hp?t=15422

it's a 4 page conversation with quotes lifted from books and other sources -- ray

Lester, what do I need to do to the Morane Saulnier-BB? If the tail wheel is locked it goes straight, fine, but if I unlock it the plane only turns in one direction, no matter the rudder.

thanks --ray

It's both eindeckers that have EIII in the in-plane menu and say (ei) in the fgmap -- ray

Can you edit xml's? Copy the EIII's tail-skid static +dynamic friction and steering coding's, but not their positions, and paste into the Morane's FDM xml

other wise use the left and right brakes.

I could be wrong... and often am, but I don't think that was the action you had intended. --Ray

So you're telling me the exact way I fixed the EIII and EI's tailskid's castering, you don't think is the action I intended?

I'm saying the way you fixed the One-deckers is most likely the way you will fix the BB, but I don't think there is a rabbits pancake in hell that those values used in the one is the values you want in the other, otherwise the action of the BB as it stands with the ein values couldn't possibly be the action you intended the BB to have.

After testing a couple of four / five of them i liked the flight characteristics of the Eindecker and the one with the double wheels and double tail and the engine at the back best. Only the Eindecker has no instruments, whereas the Helijah version has. But his is not developed further. Could the instruments be inserted in the Eindecker?

Kind regards, Vincent

Should be some instruments in the Eindekker(s)..Image

tachometer, airspeed, and altimeter. The altimeter is a pain to read, but that's Tony Fokker's fault, not mine.

Using the E-III: For the left instruments i had to install the E-I and for the right one the Albatros-BII.

This E-III has great ground handling, i can actually taxi around with it.

Kind regards, Vincent
