Is this before FG launches or after? Can you try using different airport? Can you try disabling terrasync?

Neither changing the airport nor the aircraft gives anything
the message is shown when starting FG and the string initializing subsystems

1. disable terrasync? Still?
2. remove/rename the Flightgear cache? Still?

Yes, that's the old navdata cache issue. It was fixed ages ago and upgrading to the latest stable should sort it out.
I think the workaround was to delete navdata_*.cache from
$FGFS_HOME.

Unfortunately 3.4.0 does not work however 2017.3.1 OK
