If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

BBC 2 has a TV series about two sorcerers from the early 1800's, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, based on the a fiction novel by Susanna Clarke http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2548418/ It was really well done.

@LesterBoffo if you haven't read the book, I'd HIGHLY recommend it. It was incredibly well written.

I'm aware of the novel, it's on a waiting list at our local library, but the DVD as available immediately. When the author of the Game of Thrones, George R.R. Martin honors the book with a big positive review you know it's going to be great.

You should check out the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss, it also spins a engaging tale.
