Yes you did. But it wasn't the exact topic being discussed.

O, you need to define better what you mean before posting, dear.

You need to read the contents of the post, not just the title, dear.

I read it the hole, lol. Not should I need it, but your first sentence:

"So I've watched a few fail videos lately".

That's means you watched fail videos. When you do not post example, my dear, how you expect we were know what are you talking about? We can't!

And what you post is not a fail video. At all. It's more pointless even from mine, to be exact.

Which is exactly what I did. It doesn't mean that the post is about fail videos. And what else did I say immediately after that?

Here's a quote:
..."and I stumbled upon a few that have the videos edited to prolong a sequence with music and a trippy, kaleidoscopic-style journey before the actual mishap."

And then I gave an example:
"For example, the one I watched where the person was on a scooter, and accidentally accelrate the scooter toward a wall. Just before impact, the video was edited with the person on the scooter suddenly flying through the air, swimming with fish, going blood viens, flying through colors and kaleidoscope-effects, etc complete with this weird music for at least a minute or two before it suddenly returns to 'reality' and crashes into the wall. Sorta like a going through an out of body experience right before the final crash."

And the third sentence:

The question is, is there a term for these kinds of videos?

I did not give an example video because I can't re-find it, they were hard to find in the first place and usually embedded in the middle of the videos. The one example I did come upon, after asking in another place about it, was a link from someone else who actually read the descriptions who sent this World of Tanks video and asked if it was what I was talking about. Which it was, exactly. But still, no one has any idea what these kinds of memes(?) are called. A search in the Know Your Memes page didn't find any answer because it was so obscure.

I'm pretty sure it's in there though, just need to search the correct terms. Just have to sift through the Know Your Memes site a bit more.

I'll just call it 'acid trip' until we figure out what it's actually called. And by the way, I did search for 'acid trip' or similar, but that's too general and produced even weirder videos.
