What do you call those edited fail videos

So I've watched a few fail videos lately, and I stumbled upon a few that have the videos edited to prolong a sequence with music and a trippy, kaleidoscopic-style journey before the actual mishap.

For example, the one I watched where the person was on a scooter, and accidentally accelrate the scooter toward a wall. Just before impact, the video was edited with the person on the scooter suddenly flying through the air, swimming with fish, going blood viens, flying through colors and kaleidoscope-effects, etc complete with this weird music for at least a minute or two before it suddenly returns to 'reality' and crashes into the wall. Sorta like a going through an out of body experience right before the final crash.

The question is, is there a term for these kinds of videos?

He means this type of videos:

I called them bst - bulshit. Because they are pointless.....

And to be frank - I can't stand them, I am feeling disgusting!

So that video title says a way of calling them:

"Ultimate Fails"

Yeah, you all completely missed the point. That video has exactly zero of what I am talking about, and I already called them 'fail' videos in my description in the first post.

This is why it was so hard to describe it, it's obscure and hard to find. And yet, at the same time, the 'trip' had a consistent theme going on about it, using the same music, same sort of style so it's if its sort of a meme. But what was it called? I first saw it in a fail video which I have since been unable to find (see description from my first post), but they can occur pretty much in any circumstances.

Here's an example, starts at 0:49, ends at 1:11. In this case it's a tank from the game World of Tanks

Trippy, yes? What were they high on when the first person who came up with this idea?

I'm trying to find said 'meme' for some time just simpy out of curiousity. It was consistent enough to have some sort of, shall i say, 'following', 'copycatting' or 'memeing' - whatever the term it is for it. It's rare, yet, seems popular enough to have consistent similarities across any type of videos.
