For the upcoming FlightGear Festival Spring 2016 I will be serving as ATC at Osaka's Kansai Intl. Airport RJBB.

I am planning to develop the airport, including a scenery package in FGMEMBERS-SCENERY repository, and ultimately adding the development to terrasync, before the event takes place next May.

This development includes Improvement of the 850 layout and the generation of most visible buildings and structure atop the island. And certainly building our Asian Regional JAFVA and FGMEMBERS' headquarters

I invite anyone in the community willing to take part of this nice project to team up with me.
We will need a good amount of 3d and texturizing development.

WED work phase #2 completed: Full detailed tarmac surfaces.

Nice. I downloaded Blender. No idea how to use it. Can I help with modelling, if I can figure it out?

Naturally./
Blender is a bit of a steep learning curve, but it is a powerful program and it pays off.
I advise you to look for youtube videos and follow the examples.

I gave it a spin... steep learning curve is right... haven't figured out how to even add a vertix or anything yet.

@legoboyvdlp: this unofficial tutorial for X-Plane should help you. (In FlightGear we use a different script for exporting, but the rest should be the same).
