I'm surprised the front gear cleared the drain without (noticeable fuselage) damage in the first place.

Seems like Boeing have advanced their engineering for the breakaway failing point very well.

Exactly my thought. As i understood it, the plane went forward, so the front gear must have collapsed and then the plane still moved forward to this position.

The 747 looks quite funny, as if it is grazing I hope all First Class survived.

That happened some time in mid 2000s I think. The plane was already empty and the crew (probably not actual pilots? maybe?) were moving it for maintenance. So, yeah, no passengers to get hurt. Though it would be pretty nasty if someone was actually lounging inside there.
