Yeah I'd like to work a little on the rotor head's 3D. When I first built it, I didn't get a good look at the power shaft to the damping part of the rotor head for the blades. So it's not all that correct looking.

Also, does FG model the 'pendulum effect' of rotor heads like the AW-139 has?

Found an interesting Youtube video about building the AW-139..

But fly manual, enjoying the scenery.

Back to topic, I want to make a RNLAF livery for the BO105 but I've found a problem, the BO105 from the RNLAF is the BO105-CB variant. This heli is 25 cm/10 inch shorter then the BO105-CBS-5 (FG version) and is also missing two windows:

so here I've some options:

1. Make the other heli version also, so you could choose which version you want to fly.

2. Make the windows selectable over livery system.

3. Don't change anything to the BO-105, just make the livery for the BO105-CBS-5.

4. Don't make the livery. (this means also that there are no military liveries for the BO105, because most military BO105's are CB's)

So help me to choose a option.

Btw: My preference goes to option 2.

I like option 2 as well. But maybe with a variant-set.xml instead of via livery maybe easier?

You can of course do the luxury thing:

- You need anyway a property to know which livery-type you load
- so you have already something, you could use for a select-animation
- thus, you can hang also the outside model of parts of it on that criteria

but honestly, that is firing with big guns on a little starling

Yes, that's what I mean, I want to use a select-animation in option 2 . I also used select-animation's over livery for the next release of the md902

I did that as of yet only with cockpits, not with complete aircraft and only as test because I still lack the time to actually build a second cockpit for the 767s. But it should work. The on problem, I see is, that the Yasim definitions don't care about selects, so the heli is either too long or too short for what the FDM calculates with.
