One more thing.the route. I can't simply fly from DER to SMI and that's it.

I could however fly this route:

LQBK rw 35 or 17
KOMAR direct
P11
DER
B5 -L603
SOMUN
L603
LOKSI
UL603
VAL
M173
RELDA
UM173
BEO Beograd Vor DME

Works great on that route.

Either that or fix the autopilot en route ;)

After having a lot of problems with planes and for some reason even scenery,I would like to ask is it possible to change the home airport? If it is,I would like to change it to either UUEE or UUDD and therefore to fly around Russia.

Also,it's quite clear that some smaller planes in FG are useless to fly around using the Route Manager,by smaller I mean A320,737 ,ATR. So,is it possible that just fly direct from one airport to another?

You don't have a home airport in JAFVA, you just fly from place to place. The general rule is that you take off from the airport you landed at and use a real route. So you can use something like Flightaware for current routes, or historic timetables for historic aircraft, e.g. timetableimages.com. I started in Atlanta and I've been round the globe twice, Lego has been to every continent, MountainFlyer does hard miles in bush planes and Sanni does helicopters. There are lots of possibilities and with JAFVA in "free" mode, you can go wherever you want.

If an aircraft won't fly on route manager, use the NAV radios or ADF. Or fly visual or by dead reckoning. Or fly around the former Soviet states in a Tupolev using the NVU computer. Or fix the aircraft or find something comparable, e.g. I use a 737-100 for modern 737 routes. The philosophy or JAFVA is to fly as realistically as you are able, so that means taxi and both ends, and use charts and procedures rather than fly point to point routes. Make it interesting: fly charted holding patterns, seek out DME arcs, don't use the RNAV or ILS approach every time.

It's all about flying to places you haven't flown before, perhaps in aircraft you wouldn't normally fly, but always about doing something new and different rather than doing something old and repetitive.

...or fly with VFR-rules. Then you don't need the routemanager. :)
Doesn't it work with an HUD?

Starting your FG in a cli, you could change the airport in two ways:
-- change the entry in you preferences.xml in your FG-data directory (<airport-id>) This will change the starting airport permanently.
-- use --airport=XXXX in your CLI or in your .fgfsrc

OK...I think I might have a solution. The ATR 72 developed by Skyop. That thing flies really nice.

But,the problem I'm also facing is that my FG is crashing when flying around Balkans with the Scenery 2.0 installed. There's nothing in the Console to indicate why, just crash and that's it.

I can use the old scenery but that is nowhere near as accurate.
