That's an idea but again someone has to do the work and I don't think anyone would be interested in it. Something more interesting would be to develop a plugin for flightgear to connect to joinFS or fscloud(Both of these are like fg-mp without the vatsim restrictions but allows connectivity between xplane and p3d)

Ok, I recently came across this FSD server https://x-flightserver.net/index.php
You'll need to make an account there and then you can connect any simulator though swift. This wouldn't have any restrictions of VATSIM.

I did review your suggestion.
It seems very involved way to get connected to MP, with registrations and alike
Bummer.
I would be very happy to fly along you again, but it appears to be that the more easy way is for you to sacrifice a bit of hard drive for a satellite FG for a weekend or two :S
