Hi!
As I'm adding the Q400 to FGADDON, I got the possibility to compare my local size, one time with git and one time with SVN, so the Q400, as downloaded via git from https://github.com/D-ECHO/Q400.git has a total size of 284,3MB, from which 221,5MB (!) are the .git folder. the Q400, as uploaded to FGADDON via svn has a total size of 125MB, while the .svn folder takes 62,1 MB :D
Regards

I think that huge size of the .git folder is relative to histhorical summaries, files, etc, maybe not needed to upload it all to FGADDOn, just the working and needed files, these 70mB aprox..

Well, yes, just lose the history, that saves a lot of hard disk space. Oh wait, wasn't that exactly the problem with FGADDON? No history, no old versions, no way to figure who worked in the past on it?
